How to Purchase Cryptocurrency on Coinbase

I'll now teach you how to purchase cryptocurrency. Let's buy a fraction of a bitcoin because that's the one you've probably heard the most about. However, this procedure is identical for all of the currencies available on the Coinbase platform.
On the top of the screen, tap "Get started."
You'll see a list of crypto assets that you may purchase. Choose bitcoin from the drop-down menu at the top.
Decide how much you want to spend. Remember that you can buy fractions of cryptocurrencies, so you can spend $5 on

roughly.0006204 bitcoin (at its current price of $64,635) or whatever amount you desire. The minimum order amount is $1.99.
          Select "Preview purchase."
Examine the following order: It's worth noting that Coinbase takes a portion of the purchase price, so if you want to buy $5, it'll take

around a 99 penny share of the transaction. If you buy $500 worth of bitcoin, it will cost you around $7.34.
              Select "Buy now."

That's all! After purchasing bitcoin, you can trade it immediately, but you must wait eight days before sending it to someone.

How to Sell Bitcoin on Coinbase

Assume you're ready to sell your crypto holdings. This is what you do.

On the main page, tap the blue circle symbol. It depicts two arrows.
              Select Sell.

Choose the asset you wish to sell, in this example bitcoin.
Choose how much you wish to sell for, or click the "Max" option on the left side of the screen to sell everything.

Examine the website again, and take note of the Coinbase charge.
              Select "Sell immediately."

How to Get Your Money Out of Coinbase

Perhaps you're ready to forego some revenues. You've sold your cryptocurrency and now want to transfer it back to your bank account.

It's worth noting that if you've recently acquired or sold funds, you may still be subject to a withdrawal-based limit. Something I just bought and sold this morning for the sake of this guide, for example,

cannot be sold for another eight days. After that period has gone, you should perform the following:

Tap your portfolio balance at the top of the screen from the main page.

Select the US dollar option. If you've sold some cryptocurrency, this should be worth more than $0.

              Select "Withdraw."

              Select "Preview withdrawal."

Choose your bank account. It takes one to three business days to complete the transfer. For a modest cost, you may also connect a debit card for a quick transfer.

That's all. You've learned how to set up Coinbase and utilize it to purchase and sell cryptocurrencies, as well as withdraw funds to your bank when necessary.
